Meet Dr. Victoria Snegovskikh

Dr. Snegovskikh received her medical degree from I.P. Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg in Russia and Karaganda State Medical University in Kazakhstan. Her postgraduate training includes a rotating internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Petersburg Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in Russia.

Dr. Snegovskikh also completed a residency in the U.S. with the Yale University School of Medicine in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Snegovskikh’s research interests include changes in cervical mucus and saliva in patients undergoing fertility treatments, cervical mucus as a barrier against infection during pregnancy, and identification and characterization of membrane progesterone receptors in fetal membranes.

Approach to treatment

Dr. Snegovskikh enjoys helping patients reach their goal of having beautiful families and caring for women with endocrinological disorders, from early childhood until later in life during menopause.

According to Dr. Snegovskikh, teamwork is Women & Infant’s Fertility Center’s strength, and she loves seeing patients return to have another child. The part that she likes the most about her job is building great relationships with patients. She enjoys helping patients and seeing a smile on their face.

When interacting with patients, Dr. Snegovskikh aims to maintain approachability, to be honest and upfront, and not give anyone false hopes. Her Russian accent and sense of humor also help.

In her spare time, Dr. Snegovskikh loves to travel both locally and internationally with her family and close friends. Her goal is to visit all 50 states by the age of 50. She loves theater, classical music, deep sea fishing and snow skiing. In addition, she enjoys cooking, using new recipes and baking.
