Infertility affects approximately 6.1 million women and their partners in the U.S. – about 10 percent of the women of reproductive age. In recent years, there has also been an increase in the number of young women seeking to preserve their eggs before seeking treatment for cancer or other diseases that may have an impact on their fertility.
Unfortunately, some patients cannot seek treatment because of insurance coverage restrictions, income or other barriers to care. With this in mind, Women & Infants Fertility Center has created a special, donor-supported fund for women who would not be able to afford these services. A first-of-its-kind in the country, the Compassionate Gift Program allows donors to support the greatest gift of all – a chance to have a child. If you would like to donate to Women & Infants Fertility Center, please select “Reproductive Medicine and infertility” on the Donate Now page.

Our goal is to begin treatment quickly and achieve success with plans designed personally for each patient, as an individual.
We work with other specialists, including Women & Infants Program in Women’s Oncology and Breast Health Center, to help women who may still wish to have children explore their options before, during, or after cancer treatment. Our staff is affiliated with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Tufts Medical Center.
I cannot begin to tell you what a wonderful and fulfilling experience it is to be a financial donor to Women & Infants Fertility Center. I just pray that whatever family I have helped has benefited as much as I have.
